Level 1
When you first log into the game, you will start your journey as a Level 1 Vagrant and will be placed next to a luxurious fountain in the area known as Northern Flarine. First off, you will need to learn how to navigate within the world: you can use the W, A, S, and D keys on your keyboard to move around. Alternatively, you can use the point and click method, where you use your mouse to click an area on the ground to move to that location. If you would like to change the camera view on your character you can use the directional keys on your keyboard to rotate it around, you can also do this by holding down the right mouse button to turn the camera as you move the mouse.
As you are moving around the town, try left-clicking on NPCs to talk with them and to bring up any other interact options that they may have. Some NPCs will have a trade option to buy items that you may need, or to sell any items that you may have to earn much needed penya, the form of currency in the game. Keep in mind, you can also set up trades with other players, to gain far more money than NPC shops will give. By Alt+Clicking on another player you can bring up the various interact options available, including trade. As you start to venture outside of town, try double left-clicking on monsters to start attacking them.
| Before you will be offered any quests by the NPCs you will need to prove your strength and reach level 7 on your own. The best place to do this is to head West of Flarine and start hunting Small and regular Aibatts, they are the lowest level mob in the game and can be disposed of quite easily. Remember to pick up any items that any monster might drop and to always try to keep space in your inventory. Even items that you can't use, can always be sold to a vendor or sold to another player to increase your amount of penya. You will have to pick up your items quickly, occasionally when items are left on the floor, monsters will spot them and pick them up for themselves. Note: Before you start killing monsters, you can talk to The blue Penguing Pang in Central Flaris for some buffs |
| You can now move onto higher level monsters, they will hit quite a bit harder but will give larger amounts of experience. Be sure to use different types of food to keep your health up. If your inventory begins to fill up, return to Flarine if you feel that your bags are getting pretty full, go to Boboku in Western Flarine to sell your extra items and buy some better armor and weapons. Note: You can also keep killing monsters to get armor and weapons. |
Level 5-6
| Once you have reached level 5, you will receive your second skill, Flurry. You cannot invest skill points in most of your Skills unless you have leveled certain previous Skill to a particular level. In this case, you can only invest skill points into Flurry when you have leveled Clean Hit to 3. Vagrant skills are shaped like puzzle pieces and only work if the correct piece is attached. |
| Adding skills to the action bar allows them to be used in succession quickly Although this will cause enormous amounts of damage to your enemy in a very short time, it will also cause your FP to run out very quickly. There is a limit to how many times you can use the Action Slot in a period of time. The more you use the Action Slot, the less skills you will be able to use in a row. Skills in your Action Slot that are grayed out are unavailable until the Action Slot "cools down". You can purchase the item Activition from the Premium Shop to give your Action Slot infinite cool down for a short time. (You can also purchase this item from players with Penya |
| At level 5, you can start hunting Pukepukes. The regular Pukepukes give more experience than the Small Pukepukes and have the same amount of HP. Hunt these until level 7 and get ready to begin doing quests. |
Level 7
When you reach level 7, there will be 3 quests made available to you at the Quest Office in Flarine. You will be asked to return to the Quest Office with 5 Chupim. Chupim drop from Pukepukes. This quest will reward you with 3,500 penya and a small amount of experience. The second quest that you will also receive from the Quest Office will be Unknown Situation 1 Part 1.
The second quest available will ask you to find 10 Unknown Letters, you can find them south of the the bridge crossing the River of Weeping on your map. They will be at a small camp of tents and boxes.
The third quest you receive will be from a little girl named Loyah in Eastern Flarine. She'll ask you to find her lost puppy, Yorrn. In order to find Yorrn, click M to go to your map, you will need to go to the area called "The Middle of Leren Mountains" (press ESC or M again to exit the map). You may be lucky enough to find the puppy pacing around near the Grownup Lawolfs along the Eastern edge of the river. The item that you will need to pick up is not the dog, but a scroll with the same name, on the floor next to a tree by the Grownup Lawolfs. Return it to Loyah and you will receive 15,000 penya.
Once you have completed Unknown Situation 1 Part 1, you will get Unknown Situation 1 Part 2 from the quest office. This one will ask you to find the Unknown Ids, you can find them South of the Fountain of Dead Person on your map. Collect 10 of them and return to the Quest Office to receive 3,500 Penya and experience.
If, after these quests, you still haven't leveled up, you can gain the rest of the experience needed for your level by fighting Captain Peakyturtles near the area called the "Plain of Bubble" on your map. Peakyturtles will occasionally drop decent equipment that you can use, and will also drop Peakrinds which are used for a future quest.
Level 8
After you reach level 8, you will want to make sure you have at least 10 Peakyrinds before you come back to town for the next quest from the Quest Office. When you get there, there should be a new side quest made available to you. Talk to SsotTta to receive the quest called Doridoma Sushi. He will ask you to get 5 Muchurine Secretions from Captain Mushpangs and 12 Doridoma Keratin from Small Doridoma. The Captain Mushpangs can be found directly north of the quest giver, across the bridge over the lake. They are only level 4, and can be quickly disposed of. As you kill them, the Muchurine Secretions will immediately appear in your inventory.
The Doridoma can be found slightly north of where you found the Peakyturtles and Captain Peakyturtles, near the area called Billeting Place By High Dwarpet. They are level 11, and can be quite difficult to kill for a level 8. Using special attacks will help you so that you don't miss quite as often and helps you defeat them before they do any major damage to you. If you feel that you aren't quite ready to fight Doridoma fight Demians in Madren Town until you are level 9 or 10.
Level 9
| Demians will drop Teddy Bears. Make sure you pick these up as you go. They will be used in another quest from the Quest Office that becomes available to you at level 9. After Demians move on to Doridoma. Make sure you pick up the Poporam that the Doridomas drop. They will be used in a quest from the Quest Office the becomes available at level 11. |
Level 10
Once you reach level 10, quests will begin to get more scarce. If you wish to start gaining experience points at a faster rate, you will have to start making friends to quest with. To invite a friend to a party, hold down ALT and then left click the character, then choose the "Invite to join party" or you can go to chat and type in /PartyInvite *name of character*. Creating a party will allow you to dispose of monsters more quickly and decrease the time between pulls of monsters. |
When you have a party, you can level it up to gain special party skills that will help coordinate the members of the troupe, add offensive bonuses to the party and increase the chance of getting a good drop from the monsters that you kill. These bonuses can only be applied after you increase the level of the party to 10 and convert it to an Advanced Party and give it a name. Another benefit to having a party is that a full party will increase the percentage of experience that you gain from monsters making it a must for higher level grinding. |
Level 11-14

Level 15
Once you have reached level 15, you will no longer be able to get any experience, so move onto the cities to start on your quests to do the jobs that you are sure you want to do. If you are looking to become an Assist or a Mercenary, find the corresponding instructor in Flarine. For Magician, go to SaintMorning and for Acrobat, find the instructor in Darkon2.
